Priya Abani - Chief Executive Officer
As an established executive leader and General Manager, Priya brings more than 20 years of experience in building high-performing organizations, launching innovative products and leading strategic alliances across industries. She most recently served as the General Manager/Director at Alexa Voice Service (AVS) at Amazon, where she was responsible for leading product, engineering, technical enablement and developer experience teams. Priya’s work with customers, device manufacturers and technology providers in consumer electronics accelerated the adaption of voice technology & AI into smart speakers, PCs, TVs, set top boxes, hearables, wearables and smart home devices. Priya started her career with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, and her first job was to write architectural validation tools for the Intel Pentium product family. Since completing her MBA, Priya has held several leadership roles creating global scale for new digital platform technologies. Prior to Amazon, Priya was a Senior Director at Intel, leading customer enablement and solutions integration.
Dave E. Albert, MD - Founder, Interim Chief Medical Officer
David E. Albert, MD, an Oklahoma native, is a physician, inventor and serial entrepreneur who has developed medical and other life-saving technologies and products over the last 30 years, turning a number of those innovations into tech startups. Today, he is a founder of three technology companies, InnovAlarm, Lifetone Technology and AliveCor. His previous startups include Corazonix Corp (sold to Arrhythmia Research Technology) and Data Critical (sold to GE). Dr. Albert left GE in 2004 as Chief Scientist of GE Cardiology to disrupt several new markets.
His latest invention, AliveCor Mobile ECG, became a global sensation via a four-minute YouTube Video in January 2011 around the Consumer Electronics Show and was featured on ABC, CBS, CNN and Fox News among many other media outlets. Dr. Albert has 32 issued US patents, a large number pending and several new “secret inventions” in development. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific abstracts and publications principally in the Cardiology literature. Dr. Albert has lectured at the Entrepreneurship programs at the MIT Sloan School and the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Albert graduated with Honors from Harvard College and from Duke University Medical School.
Ira Bahr - Chief Operating Officer
Ira brings brings extensive sales, marketing and business development experience with high profile consumer, technology and media brands. Ira has served in a range of senior roles at Sirius Radio, Dish Network, and TiVo and has been responsible for customer acquisition, product marketing, customer loyalty and corporate communications. Bahr oversaw the product planning and marketing for “Hopper,” Dish’s whole-home DVR as well as for Dish’s first mobile streaming applications. Bahr has authored enduring branding changes for multiple companies including Sirius, where he is acknowledged as having conceived the corporate name. Ira began his career at BBDO where he held positions of increasing responsibility working with clients including FedEx, Pepsi and GE.
Aman Bhatti, MD - VP of Medical Affairs
Dr. Aman Bhatti brings over a decade of global medical experience to his role as VP of Medical Affairs at AliveCor, where he oversees all medical and clinical activities. Dr. Bhatti is a digital health futurist who has supported revolutionary technologies to increase healthcare accessibility, predict disease onset, prevent diseases and progression, and improve health outcomes worldwide.
Dr. Bhatti strives to ensure patients receive products and services that go beyond treating their disease and symptoms, and allow them to live their lives to the fullest. Prior to his role with AliveCor, he worked for major household brands such as Mucinex, Theraflu, Flonase, Nicorette, Allegra, and Nasacort and leading pharmaceutical companies Reckitt Benckiser, Novartis, GSK, and Sanofi. Dr. Bhatti received his medical degree from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine.
